Study of Self by Paul McDonald explores masculinity, loss and the artist’s lived experiences through the presentation of archival work, portraiture and landscape. Created over 10 years, Study of Self builds on a series McDonald commenced while studying for his Master of Arts. After graduating, he decided to continue exploring these themes and complete the body of work.
